With a virtual cornucopia of Web sites offering one-of-a-kind gift ideas, he might find himself with too many choices about what to get his girlfriend. Move over tired, old Teddy Bears. Think gifts such as a $99 pair of pewter glass Romeo and Juliet goblets from Perfect Present Picker (www.presentpicker.com) or a getaway weekend at the romantic Claremont Spa in the San Francisco Bay area (www.claremnt.com).

WebBuyingGuide's Grossman said it's a good idea to shop early, even though many e-tailers offer overnight delivery. "There is a lot at stake for this holiday," he said.
